Livery Services

Our aim is simply to provide the perfect home for your horse. We have 24-hour care from friendly and dedicated staff. We offer a full livery package through to competition, schooling and holiday livery. The packages are flexible and designed to suit your routine and budget!

Your horse will live in a relaxed and dust-free environment with top-quality feed, hay and haylage to a specification agreed by you. They will be turned out onto quality well-kept paddocks daily (all year round) and for a length of time agreed with each owner. Your horse will want for nothing!

Exercising or schooling can be arranged to suit individual needs and we have a top of the range covered Claydon horse walker.

Denstone Stud and Riding Centre is run by Rob and Jane Critchley.

Our Yard Supervisor is Lydia Conroy. Lydia has successfully completed her NVQ level 3, and has been awarded the 'Apprentice of the Year' by Moreton Morrell College. She has also recently completed her first aid qualification.

Rob makes our own organic hay and haylage and ensures the smooth running of the yard.

Felicity Scott is Jane's mum and holds regular clinics at Denstone Stud. She has trained and competed to Grand Prix level most recently with her horse Shining Light. Felicity is also a list 2a judge.

Jane is a qualified riding intructor (UKCC Level 2) and on both the BHS and British Dressage training databases.

Donnerouge has recently qualified for the Winter Championships at Advanced Medium Level and will be aiming at Prix St George later this year. Our two homebred horses out competing this year are Legro 6yrs and Lothario 5yrs. Legro will be competing Novice and Elementary this year having had a break over winter. Lothario is already well on his way to qualifying for the Novice Regional Championships consistently scoring 69% plus.

As a Junior Jane:
•Was short-listed for the Junior Event Team on Monkey Business.
•Was selected for the Pony Dressage Team on Mornington Crescent.
•Won the Pony Club Eventing Championships and the Ride-off at the Pony Club Dressage Championships.
•Won the Spillers Dressage and Jumping Championships at the Horse of the Year Show.
•Evented to Intermediate level and trained her pony Mornington Crescent to Intermediare 1 level.
